About us

The PTA is run by a committee of volunteer parents and teachers, who are elected at the Annual General Meeting.  The committee usually meets once a month to think of, and organise, social and fundraising events in order to provide extra benefits for the school and your children’s enjoyment of school life.  If you are a parent of a child at The Greville, you are automatically a member of the PTA so why not come along and join in?

Like most PTAs, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are the Fairs, Fireworks and Children's Discos. We've had a Fashion Show, Nearly New Sale and hold regular cake sales.  

So you can see there is always something going on. We always try and respond to the school's requests for help and it is truly the icing on the cake to see them having fun at the events or enjoying using a piece of new equipment that the PTA has funded.

We are fortunate however to have other opportunities open to us to raise money. Donations are extremely important. These can be time, money, items for sale, donations for raffles or offers of services and skills.

As our PTA is a Registered Charity (No. 281964), we are able to raise money through Spend & Raise and Charity Matched Giving schemes.
